If you are a nonprofit with your own web site, Network for Good can help you reach a new generation of online donors by putting a DonateNow button on your web site.
How does the button work for your donors?
- A donor visits your web site and clicks on your DonateNow button (there are a variety of different button colors and sizes to choose from).
- The donor arrives at your donation page on the Network for Good secure web server. This donation page is branded with your logo and language. Additionally, you have control over all of the various donation options available to your donor on the donation page.
- The donor enters and submits donation information.
- Since the donation is processed in real-time, the donor is notified immediately if the transaction fails due to an incorrect credit card number, insufficient funds, etc. The donor can then correct the problem and try again.
- After a successful donation, the donor is provided with an on-screen receipt and thank you message (written by you).
- At no point during the donation is the donor distracted with links to other organizations or information about other giving opportunities.
- Because Network for Good is a 501(c)(3) organization and the donation is technically made to us, we send an instant email to the donor that serves as the official receipt for tax purposes. This email also thanks the donor for their contribution and includes your thank you message.
- The donor is returned to your web site after completing the donation.
How does the button work for your organization?
- With your Network for Good ID and password, you can access your account information from the "My Account" section of the Network for Good web site at any time (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
- This secure password-protected section of our web site provides you with a detailed breakdown of your donation and grant history. You can even download your donor information (name, email, address, etc.) into an excel spreadsheet for easy data manipulation!
- From the "My Account" section, you can also change any of your account information (donation options, thank you message, button color, etc.) at any time. All of these changes take effect in real-time.
- Anytime someone makes a donation, we'll send you a donation notification email, complete with the details of the donor's gift.
- At the end of each month, Network for Good will send your organization a single check for the aggregate amount of your monthly donations, less the 3% credit card processing fee.
