"Our DonateNow button allowed us to give new guests to our website an easy opportunity to give, especially when they were drawn to the website by unexpected publicity.  In January 2008, Dallas Academy's Girls' Basketball team was beaten 100-0.  Because of how positively the girls and coaches handled the "defeat" - with perseverance and a positive attitude - the incident became an international story.  We received hundreds of encouraging emails and thousands of hits on our website. Because of the easy "Donate Now" access, we had several new donors make unexpected gifts in support of the team and Dallas Academy, a school for bright students with learning differences."
