Turkey Earthquake: How You Can Help

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck southeast Turkey on Sunday, October 23, with the epicenter at the village of Tabanli, 20 kilometres north of Van city.  According to news reports, at least 535 people have been killed and another 2,300 injured. Survivors of this devastating event will need help in the days, weeks and months ahead.  Please show your support and make a donation to one of the organizations providing relief.

Thailand Floods: How You Can Help

Major flooding in Thailand, which follows months of monsoon rains, is the worst flooding to afflict the country in half a century.  The waters could take more than a month to recede in some areas, the Thai government said Sunday, October 23, 2011.  Reports estimate that the flooding has already killed 356 people, with nearly 9 million others affected.  Survivors of this devastating event will need help in the days, weeks and months ahead.  Please show your support and make a donation to one of the organizations providing relief.
