About Network for Good

Network for Good is a nonprofit organization committed to helping donors support their favorite charities online and to enabling charities to attract resources online.  Founded in 2001 by AOL, Yahoo and Cisco, we enable giving to all charities in good standing with the IRS and in compliance with the Patriot Act.  This encompasses more than one million organizations spanning a full spectrum of missions.

Network for Good's Donor Advised Fund is accredited by the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance and meets all 20 of its standards for charity accountability.  You can view our accreditation information here.  Our full staff is listed here and our board of directors here.  We also welcome you to review our privacy policy and policies regarding fees.

Network for Good has disbursed over $1 billion in donations to more than 100,000 charities. Donations through Network for Good appear on credit card statements as “Network for Good.” That's because donations through our system are to the Network for Good Donor Advised Fund, which then re-grants donations to the charity(ies) that each donor designates. Network for Good issues a donation receipt via email immediately upon completion of each transaction.

Since our inception in 2001, Network for Good has acquired or merged with several other nonprofit organizations to advance our mission, including Direct Help, the ePhilanthropy Foundation, WhatGoesAround.org, and Groundspring (which was formerly part of the Tides Foundation).

We also partner with a variety of organizations to generate strong online support of charities, including AOL, Yahoo, Cisco, Charity Navigator, GuideStar, Capital OneCrowdrise, and YourCause.
