1 stars. I’ve been to Taltree for nature hikes and picnics. I always wished they would add bike trails, but maybe in the future…if there is one. I read the up on this CEO that is in charge over there. The owners of this place are not that stupid are they? This woman almost destroyed a college and city with careless spending and way poor management. Someone posted that 75% of the employees quit ...

5 stars. This is a great organization that helps kids in need. I have been involved with this organization since 1994, and have never been disappointed. I go to one of the homes regularly and hang out with the guys who are staying there.

5 stars. I was introduced to TASK when my daughter had to fulfill her community service requirement for her school. That first visit to TASK was a life changing event for me as I realized the power that is contained in the place. I was so impressed that TASK takes a total approach to its patrons, feeding the mind and the body.
The staff at TASK is simply amazing, bar none! They are professional...

5 stars. Today was our school's last day to attend Operation School Bell this year. Thank you for the countless hours you worked in order to help our students have a wonderful experience and be set for the winter with appropriate school clothes! The building is beautiful, the shopping carts and take-home bags are special, the volunteer shoppers are gracious and loving, the clothes are beautiful...

5 stars. Fabulous organization that has been a long-standing and well-respected member of the community. They provide such a valuable service to those in need, on so many levels - whether a hot meal, educational assistance, personal support, etc. They also provide many opportunities for people to participate in their good works through volunteer work, whether helping serve a meal, to regular vo...

5 stars. I joined led2serve for an international service trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2012. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Leaders engaged volunteers in meaningful service projects that utilized each person's skills and abilities. We were able to build some pretty amazing relationships and I was challenged to expand my comfort zone and try new things. The best part f...

1 stars. Since late July FVFD began blasting our township with a tornado siren at all hours. The 2 reasons the Dept. gave are ridiculous . Causing panic when no storms are coming is obviously a huge problem. It's also obvious FVFD doesn't care about that. A result of complaining is being harassed . Under these circumstances any + support for this non profit is impossible. tfranzese2008@gmail.com

1 stars. This "Heritage Foundation" is really an alter ego publishing company disguised as a Charity. How is it that this "Charity's" program expenses continually and repeatedly exceed its revenue? How can it continue to operate as a charity? Because the program expenses include advertising and salaries that benefit its alter ego, Artscroll.
Does Mesorah Heritage Foundation have any plans on wh...

1 stars. Donor & Volunteer ~ NEVER MORE!
After reading all the crap about CEO, Alexis Faust's past, I will never give to Taltree, again.
I can't help but wonder if the Taltree Board realized what they were getting when they hired this woman in 2011?

1 stars. I received a letter in the mail from NAHA requesting donations. They tell the very compelling story of Sara Swift Hawk. According to this Thomas Congressional record, she died in 1999 http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?r106:S25FE9-0020:
It seemed a little strange to not have any more up to date information. Then I went to the website and there has been no news entered for the entire ...

1 stars. I received an enormous free package from them in the mail with a calculator , pen, and calendar book. Now why I would need/ want any of that is beyond me. I was rather disturbed by it all since having worked in the manufacturing industry i know that this stuff wasn't cheap. My fist thought was, why the H*LL are they wasting their money sending ME this junk?! i'm a very dedicated animal...

1 stars. Had a prior interest in this charity so I check in with it now and then via Guide Star to see how its doing. I note that it now has a "Guide Star Exchange Seal, demonstrating its commitment to transparency" yet its most recent 990 is dated 19 months ago . Furthermore, it does not publish an annual report or have an audit on Guide Star and the needs assessment it has on its website to k...

1 stars. Absolutely unprofessional! I watched a young couple suffer due to heavy meth addiction, infidelity, and unsupportive family. I saw a teen mom covered in 3rd degree burns while battling an infected c-section. Her husband did nothing to help her during this time because he was too high on METH to care about her or his newborn daughter. I tried to help. But I clearly am not able to deal w...

5 stars. I am a patient at St. Jude and I give them five stars because even though they may not be making enormous breakthroughs they still treat cancer patients, especially children for free. Personally I have received medications through them that I never would have been able to afford. Their fundraising may not be very efficient but they still treat their patients with enormous integrity.

5 stars. I have been a volunteer with OEC for three months. Staffs are very warm, helpful and always appreciate efforts made by their interns and volunteers. I started with researching on water related projects and later, the event planning team graciously brought me on board for assistance with their annual event. They have great volunteer/intern coordination to ensure the interests of volunte...
