5 stars. AAP works at the most basic needs of its clients -- nutrition. With very little overhead and many great volunteers, I feel my money really makes a difference.

5 stars. How many times have you asked , ‘where would I ever use this?’ Dramatic Results keeps students engaged in fun learning while introducing what might otherwise be difficult mathematic concepts. Students are excited about learning and eager to succeed. This program is pure genius! A few of the takeaways include a new skill, a deeper understanding of math and how to apply what you’ve learn...

5 stars. Beech Brook Farm is an idyllic equine rescue in Mystic Connecticut dedicated to saving equines from neglect & abusive situations & provide them with a loving home for life.
I found Beech Brook three years ago when I was searching for an equine rescue in Connecticut to donate funds to and was happy to find such a dedicated crew. The founder, Deb Finco and her crew of volunteers work tir...

5 stars. My volunteer work was in Arizona feeding the homeless which was very satisfying for me and the homeless. the plan for Global Village Champions is to have Christmas in January each year for the homeless which I think is great. It was a great experience to work with the Champions.

5 stars. Can't say enough wonderful things about YDF and all the people involved with this group. Amazing that this is a non-profit -- their free seminars, donation-based training classes and endless online resources are invaluable for all dog owners. Of course, I would have paid much more for their Reactive Dog training. I am so grateful that a former volunteer/Petsmart trainer suggested that ...

5 stars. Have had a wonderful experience thus far, working with Naina and Beth. I'm so thankful that I've been given the opportunity to work with two very talented professionals. I'm excited for the future of E-Collaborate.org and am confident than it can soar to great heights.

5 stars. We have some very good people that care and make an effort to work with non profits like Global Village Champions Foundation who have served over 925,000,000 meals. How great is that!

5 stars. Great Philadelphia and Palo Alto Chapters. While consulting I was able to find a welcoming chapter just about anywhere I went.

5 stars. I've been a member of AWIS since 1975 and have served on its board. In addition, I belonged to the local chapter of AWIS for nearly the same length of time. As a university chemistry/biochemistry professor, active in the research laboratory and classroom, AWIS provided me with a unique opportunity to meet and work with other women scientists in academe, as well as with women in the

5 stars. Gary, Ann, and Gustavo's enthusiasm for sharing their passion is evident; they care tremendously about their students, scholarship families, and teacher colleagues. Their strength is in the personal relationships that their small size and deep, patient connections allow. For instance, they have seen Yalu school through a change of director and various upheavals now, providing support t...

5 stars. I volunteered there last summer and I had the best time ever! I can't wait to come back again and again and again like I know so many of the volunteers have. It's a relatively loose and not-so-professional approach to volunteerism since it's such a small organization, but it works out so, so well! Depending on the duration of your stay, the impact the volunteering has varies I feel. It...

5 stars. FOSNP and Bob Newtson truly live up to their group's name, "Friends of Saguaro National Park". They recently donated a wonderful little mule to the park to help us continue the longstanding tradition of backcountry packing operations to support both staff and volunteer activities occurring in the Wilderness. Thank you!

5 stars. What impresses me most about AWIS is that it is not simply a membership organization. I have experienced firsthand how AWIS engages its members in activities that examine the barriers that prevent women from advancing in science fields, and strives to make changes to remove those barriers. I genuinely feel that AWIS fulfills its mission to retain and increase the number of women in STE...

5 stars. Surviving as a woman in science is not easy. Studies consistently show that both men and women are biased against female scientists when assessing their work, so there is an uphill climb to make it in this already competitive field. AWIS gathers many of the bits of news and helpful tips that practicing female scientists don't otherwise have time to seek out on their own. It helps to le...
