Review of International Topical Steroid Awareness Network Inc. by LuzGozo

4 hours 59 min ago
5 stars. ITSAN has saved my 6 yr old from a lifetime of being shunted from one potent immunosuppressant to another, we are now on the road to her being free from all medical interventions within the next year. Their advice, support and campaigning is literally changing the course of people's lives. Before we found them we had no hope and now we can see a normal future for our little girl. Any p...

5 stars. The work that Patricia and her group of volunteers do with animals that have been hurt, abandoned, and neglected is truly inspirational. I am so very proud to be a part of it.
My little sister and I were looking for a volunteer activity to do together. She found Serenity and we have now been volunteering for a year. Over the course of that year, I have watched my sister grow from an aw...

1 stars. While the work of the organization is needed and has merit, how the executive director handles the business end of things has a lot to be desired. It's unfortunate that she feels that the how she runs the business doesn't matter as long as she is able to do the service, because doing business that way really doesn't honor the kids the organization is supposed to be serving.

She paid me ...

Review of EDENS SONG MINISTRY INC by donnaa

5 stars. I have been a donor to EDENS SONG MINISTRY since it was first started. I have traveled in Africa with EDENS SONG MINISTRY and have seen the projects which the ministry supports. I have had the opportunity to talk with the missionaries EDENS SONG MINISTRY supports. I also have reviewed the financial statements on a yearly basis. When donations are given, the funds are used for the proje...

Review of Mercer Island Eastside Orphans & Waifs (aka MEOW Cat Rescue) by Gail29

Sun, 2014-04-20 21:06
5 stars. I LOVE MEOW and the people involved with this organization. We adopted a WONDERFUL kitty, Grace, in 2005. The loving people at MEOW had rescued Grace from a crackhouse in south Seattle. Need I say more............. Grace was approximately one year old, when we found her at MEOW and had been there quite a while. She did not show herself - just sat in the back of her cage, hoping not to ...

5 stars. I have seen a major turn around with Rogue Valley Humane Society in the past 8 years for the positive. The facility has improved their standard of care to such a level that the animals are more healthy both mind and body. I have worked with the staff as both a volunteer and a CVT and am so impressed with their willingness to learn and make what ever changes necessary to improve their f...

5 stars. Unexpectedly finding your father dead with a gunshot to his head has been one of the most devastating things that's ever happened to me. A part of my very soul died that day. If not for the members of the forum I'm not sure where I would be right now. I was totally exhausted from looking for answers and support and this was the only forum that would openly let you talk about what happe...

5 stars. I lost my 19 year old son to suicide Xmas night 2013. I found the Alliance of Hope for Survivors forum a few weeks after. 3 months later I refer to this forum daily. It has helped me survive. Through the wisdom of the moderators and participants I have learned how to understand grief, how to look after myself during the journey.
I have connections right across the globe through this for...

Review of National Gardening Association, Inc. by HillaryVP

4 stars. I recently got involved with NGA as a donor and volunteer. I am really impressed with how many kids and schools they have given gardens to around the US. I have been asked to help introduce the organization to friends and I am doing that because I think they are the real deal.

1 stars. This organization is committing financial crimes and using it's name to trick people into believing it's the presidents organization. Yet it's the presidents family so the IRS lets it continue even after being publicly outed. Don't give a penny to these crooks.

Review of Kidpower Teenpower Fullpower International (known as Kidpower) by CarolMiddleton

5 stars. Kidpower is a huge resource for kids and others worldwide. Many years of research and careful thought have gone into the basic skills and how to teach them. No other source even comes close in terms of comprehensive information and teacher training, and the resources are shared freely.
Irene van der Zande has done many walks on the beach with authorities from all over the world as par...

Review of Holy Family Home and Shelter, Inc. by nvieira

Sun, 2014-04-20 16:27
5 stars. I have been a volunteer with Holy Family Shelter for two years. Once a week, I work with the children in the afterschool program, and it has been an amazing experience. Holy Family’s afterschool program facilitates learning and encourages patience, cooperation, and respect, while keeping the atmosphere light and fun- an important time for the children as they balance school and other a...

1 stars. As a veteran with PTSD I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism of this organization. From day my first contact in Oct 2013, I had difficulty getting Mr. Sherwood to respond to my calls and emails. Once I finally received the promised application I was unable to return them...the website email address no longer existed. I was told they were changing servers. Once in the prog...

5 stars. I am currently working with a 20 year old young man who dropped out of high school after the tenth grade. I cannot praise too highly the quality & quantity of support I receive from those in charge of AACLC: E-mails with suggestions for different techniques and new resources, seminars on specific topics, continuing training opportunities, and responses to e-mail queries within minutes....

5 stars. Over the years I have seen many organizations come and go. They usually claim to help unknown people in unknown ways. That's what is different with the Power of Pain. They do most of their work on a one-to-one basis. They help real people directly; no matter what a person may need they try to help.

As an Ambassador for the Power of Pain, I am proud to be a part of the organization even...

5 stars. I am proud of my volunteer involvement with Orang Utan Republik Foundation. OURF provides much needed education based solutions and farming alternatives to help save the endangered Orangutan. The scholarship program for veterinary, biology and forestry workers serves to create a generation of advocates working to preserve the Orangutan habitat: the unique rainforests of Indonesia.
