Save the Children condemns the heinous crime against a 5-year-old girl in Delhi last week, which has once again drawn national and international attention to the urgent need to protect children. Save the Children, which works in 15 states, has called for city-specific child protection strategies to be implemented immediately; alongside it has set up an internal Task Force to address the issue of sexual offences against children on a high-priority basis.
