CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) - Opposition leader Henrique Capriles must make what could be the most important decision of his political life, now that Venezuela's elections commission has called an April 14 vote to pick a successor to the late Hugo Chavez.

On March 11, 2011, a massive 9.0-magnitude earthquake triggered a monster tsunami that swelled to up to 65 feet in places. The wave devastated many of Japan's coastal towns, killing just over 19,000 people and unleashing the world's worst nuclear crisis in a quarter of a century.
