Leadership

Bill Strathmann
Chief Executive Officer

Bill Strathmann is Network for Good's CEO and is a member of its Board of Directors. He is a social entrepreneur, who throughout his career has traversed sectors, bringing good business practices to corporations and nonprofits alike. Bill came to Network for Good from BearingPoint, where he provided strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions consulting to corporations and nonprofit organizations across the nation. With Andersen Business Consulting, he developed and led a consulting practice serving large nonprofits including the Nature Conservancy, National Geographic Society, National Association of Home Builders and the United Way. Throughout his career, Bill has been an influential speaker on the topics of philanthropy, the role of technology in fundraising, corporate social responsibility, strategic planning, performance management and mergers and acquisitions. Bill is a co-author featured in the book, People to People Fundraising - Social Networking and Web 2.0 for Charities. He has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Haverford College and a master's degree in business administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. Bill is Vice Chair of The Social Enterprise Alliance and also serves on the boards of Our Good Works and The Shohola Scholarship Fund. He also serves in advisory roles for the National Council of Nonprofits, Independent Sector, BBB Wise Giving Alliance and the Alliance for Effective Social Investing.

Katya Andresen
Chief Operating Officer

Katya Andresen is Chief Operating Officer of Network for Good, as well as a speaker, author and blogger about nonprofit marketing, online outreach and the basics of social media. In addition, she is an adjunct professor of communications at American University’s Key Certificate Program and serves on the board of EarthShare. Katya has trained thousands of causes in effective marketing and media relations, and her marketing materials for non-profits have won national and international awards. She is the author of the book, Robin Hood Marketing: Stealing Corporate Savvy to Sell Just Causes and was featured in the e-book, Nine Minds of Marketing. She is also a co-author with Network for Good CEO Bill Strathmann of a chapter in the book, People to People Fundraising - Social Networking and Web 2.0 for Charities. Fundraising Success Magazine named her Fundraising Professional of the Year in 2007. Before joining Network for Good, she was Senior Vice President of Sutton Group, a marketing and communications firm and a marketing consultant overseas in Ukraine. She also worked for CARE International. Katya traces her passion for good causes to the enormous social need she witnessed as a journalist prior to her work in the non-profit sector. She was a foreign correspondent for Reuters News and Television in Asia and for Associated Press and major US newspapers in Africa.

Bob Deily
Chief Financial Officer

Bob Deily manages and coordinates Network for Good's financial and accounting activities. Prior to joining Network for Good, Bob was the founder and owner of MBAWare, an online retailer of business software for CPAs, CFOs and other financial professionals. He was the CFO and EVP of Finance and MIS for the North American subsidiary of Swisscom and was a financial management consultant at CGI-AMS for clients like AT&T and Verizon. Bob has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Georgetown University.

Steve Turner
Chief Technical Officer
Steve Turner is responsible for the development and operation of the technology that powers Network for Good. Steve comes to Network For Good from washingtonpost.com, where he was VP Technology and CTO. Steve brings more than 20 years of experience leading large global development projects at BrassRing, Curl Corporation, Authoria, Primavera Systems and Lotus Development. Steve holds a B.S. degree in applied chemistry from Nottingham, England, and a master's degree in high tech business administration from Northeastern University in Boston.

Carrie Howard
Customer Service Manager

Carrie joined the Network for Good (Powered by Groundspring) team in September 2000. As Operations Manager, she is responsible for supervising Groundspring's Customer Support Team, updating the Groundspring web site, and assisting with the overall daily operations of the organization. Carrie has extensive experience in Web design and development, including her completion of the OpNet Web master training program and the SFSU CEL Information Design for the Web course.

Arch Alcantara
HTML/Web Designer, NPO Services

Arch builds and maintains the Custom DonateNow pages that replicate organizations' web sites, provides technical support for Custom DonateNow customers, and performs web design and development for Network for Good's web site and projects. He previously served as Lead Web Producer at RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), after extensive consulting duty with for-profit clients including Discovercard, McDonald's, and Oprah.com.

Debbie Dine
HTML/Web Designer, NPO Services
Debbie codes the custom designs for the Custom DonateNow pages that replicate organizations' web sites, provides web design support for Custom DonateNow customers, and provides web design and development support for other Network for Good projects. Prior to joining Network For Good, Dine designed web sites for area small businesses and nonprofits, including Maryland public schools, and she founded an award-winning children's literary web site. Her favorite charity is the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Dylan Gold
Database Support Specialist

Dylan has experience in assisting non-profits with developing their technological capabilities. A recent alumnus from San Francisco State, Dylan received a B.A. in International Relations with an emphasis in international development and South and Southeast Asian affairs in 2007. Outside the office, Dylan enjoys philosophy and the arts, computers and gadgets, and his lifelong support for the Oakland A's.

Priscilla Merle
Customer Support Specialist

Priscilla is responsible for providing support to EmailNow and DonateNow customers. Her past experience working with nonprofits includes working with the Tides Network for over 5 years as the lead receptionist. While at Tides Network, her responsibilities included answering the switchboard, guest services and supporting the Tides Network staff. She enjoys board games, reading books and spending quality time with her family.

Tim Riordan
Director of Sales
Tim Riordan joined Network for Good in August of 2008 as Director of Sales. After many years of helping for-profit companies make money, he decided to dedicate his time and effort to helping organizations in the non-profit sector do the same.  At Network for Good, he is responsible for managing a growing team whose mission is to educate non-profit organizations about the range of NFG’s services and products.  Tim’s success is defined by his team’s success, and through them, the success of all NPOs using our products to further their missions.  Prior to Network for Good, he held sales and sales management positions at several hi-tech market research companies.  He received his  B.S. in International Business with a minor in German from the University of Scranton.  In his spare time, Tim enjoys fishing and playing golf.

Charles Ball
Customer Experience Manager

Charles joined Network for Good as Senior Sales Associate. He has extensive experience providing Technical Education Counseling services to the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Through working with Clarity Technologies and later with CIBER Inc, Charles guided and assisted individual, non-profit, university, and corporate clients, in effectively meeting their technical training needs. In addition, while at CIBER Inc., Charles worked closely with clients in meeting short and long term technical staffing requirements. His clients included the University of California San Francisco, Williams-Sonoma, Kaiser Permanente, and Skidmore Owings and Merrill. In his spare time, Charles has worked with his local neighborhood association on projects such as park beautification. He enjoys reading science fiction and hiking.

Ted Thompson
Senior Sales Associate, NPO Services

Ted Thompson is a Sales Associate with Network for Good. He is responsible for introducing and demonstrating the benefits of Network for Good's services to non-profit organizations. Prior to joining Network for Good, Ted worked in sales and marketing with various for-profit companies but found that his passion lied in the mission and service of organizations working for social good. Ted is an active player and member of the Frederick Rugby Football Club. He has a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education/History from Mount St. Mary's College (now Mount St. Mary's University).

Dennis Barongan
Sales Associate
Dennis is responsible for fostering the growth of other non-profit organizations through the use of Network for Good's many successful online fundraising services.  Having worked for Clear Channel Media and AOL, Dennis brings with him an extensive sales and customer service background in digital and traditional advertising.  He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. In his spare time, Dennis enjoys rooting for the Hokies and training in various martial arts disciplines.  He is actively working towards a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  A journey that started over 13 years ago.

Benjamin DeBonis
Sales Associate, NPO Services

Benjamin DeBonis is a compassionate advocate, working hard to inspire and promote goodness and well being. He is a native Bay Area resident and a local sports and scholastic legend. He attended university at Brown in the friendly ocean state, Rhode Island, and graduated in 2005 with a BA in History with a focus in Comparative studies of Revolutions. He is a globe trotter, a good doer, a zen Buddha jew Tao bodhisattva student and observer. He has a strong commitment to the tripod of love, work, and home interwoven by a deep spirituality. He is happy, joyful and appreciative to help you in your pursuit to increase your online activity and efficiency in order to reach your mission!

Benesha Bobo
Sales Associate
Benesha works with Network for Good’s amazing sales team spreading the Good word about Network for Good’s fantastic services and supporting nonprofits around the U.S. in reaching their fundraising and email marketing goals. Before joining the team at Network for Good, Benesha worked for several arts nonprofits including The National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and African Continuum Theatre Company, DC’s only professional resident African American theater company. Benesha holds a B.A. in Philosophy with a minor concentration in Africana Studies.

Joe Engle
Sales Associate
 Joe Engle started with Network for Good in October 2008.  He has been working in both the 501c6 and 501c3 nonprofit arenas since 2004 and is working toward completion of his Masters degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco. Having worked in both nonprofit association membership and fundraising development, he is able to bring a real-life consultative and empathetic approach to his customers assessing how online tools can be used as part of an overall strategy to build a strong foundation of cultivated relationships and a sustained source of funds for each type of nonprofit client. Joe is conversant in Mandarin and Spanish and has traveled on international work projects as well as across the United States to duty stations while serving in the US Navy for 6 years.  His fundraising career can be traced back to his teenage years when he raised money to go on a total of 3 international and 2 US work projects before the age of 20. Joe’s nonprofit involvement also includes his participation on the board of Wah Mei Preschool, San Francisco’s oldest bilingual preschool. For fun, Joe likes to try out new recipes in his kitchen and to stretch his vocal chords at the local karaoke club.

Marketing and Partnerships

Stacie Mann
Vice President, Partnerships

Stacie Mann leads Network for Good's consumer marketing sector, including: Good Cards, consumer outreach, corporate partnerships and giving portals. She is also responsible for the website Six Degrees, which launched in January of 2007 with actor and musician Kevin Bacon and brings a social conscience to social networking. The Web site spotlights celebrities' causes and allows everyday people to donate to or raise funds for their own favorite charities anywhere online. She has trained non-profits on how to effectively market their causes online as well as ways to use person-to-person fundraising. Before joining Network for Good, she worked in the Interactive Marketing division of America Online managing their strategic e-commerce partners. Stacie holds a bachelor's degree in French and Marketing from Duke University.

Kate Olsen
Partner Marketing Manager

Kate develops and executes Network for Good's consumer marketing plans, including: Good Cards, website content, consumer outreach, corporate partnerships and giving portals. Rebecca Higman
Marketing Associate

Rebecca is responsible for marketing activities in the nonprofit services sector of Network for Good, including website management for the Learning Center, e-newsletter development, event marketing, email marketing, advertising efforts and business development strategy. Prior to her position at Network for Good, Rebecca supported online fundraising activities, training and materials development in the Special Events department at the American Diabetes Association's national office. Rebecca holds a B.F.A. in Visual Media from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a M.S. in Media Management from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University. In her spare time, she enjoys burying her nose in a good book on the Metro, exploring DC and taking in as many movies as her budget will allow.

Amanda Coyle
Director of Development and HR

As Network for Good's Director of Development and HR, Amanda is responsible for conducting fundraising efforts, managing the board of directors, overseeing the Human Resources function, and assisting the CEO with additional organizational activities. Formerly with BearingPoint, Amanda was a consultant in the Nonprofit Sector where she participated in a variety of consulting engagements including Change Management, Merger Integration and Business Process Redesign. Prior to BearingPoint, Amanda was with Andersen Business Consulting where she served clients through Program Management, Strategic Development and Merger Integration projects. Amanda holds a bachelor's degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of Richmond.

Debbie Lam is the Director of Business Systems at Network for Good. Debbie is in charge of Network for Good donation processing operations. Prior to Network for Good, Debbie was a technical director for Agency.com, an internet consulting firm with a roster of clients in a wide selection of industries. Debbie's past work experience has included projects for Fidelity Investments, GTech/Washington State Lottery, Pacific Gas & Electric, and Openwave. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Malvika Saini
Controller
Malvika is responsible for the day to day accounting functions at Network for Good. Prior to working for Network for Good, Malvika was in public accounting. She worked for various CPA firms in the DC area. Malvika holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and an active CPA license.

Nana is responsible for accounts payable activities and expense reporting and reimbursement. Before joining Network for Good, Nana worked as an Accounts Payable Coordinator with Acsys Staffing. She is currently working towards her Bachelors degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Computer Studies and a certification in Human Resource Management at University of Maryland University College.

Andy Kalinowitsch
Senior Engineer, NPO Services

Andy joined Network for Good to support and extend the technical infrastructure of the organization. His past experience includes database application design for AT&T and Hewlett-Packard, as well as numerous consulting engagements with a variety of for-profit and nonprofit clients, creating web-database applications, media-rich web sites, and content management systems.

Tanya Lee
Vice President, Program Management
Tanya Lee works on the Network for Good Technical Team as a Requirements and Project Manager. In this role she helps to design and coordinate NFG software development. Prior to joining Network for Good, Tanya worked for Deloitte Consulting, with specific focus in the area of child welfare. Tanya holds a Masters in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia as well as a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelors of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. She was born in the beautiful Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and grew up in Silver Spring, MD where she still resides today.
